Endsleigh Insurance has reported significant improvement in its website statistics after the company carried out bespoke web design.
The company, which provides insurance for students, completely overhauled its website after it decided to focus on an ecommerce route rather than branches.
Since undergoing a total redesign, the website has seen a reduction in bounce rates by up to 36 per cent and there has also been a 12.5 per cent increase in visitors.
Endsleigh has also seen its page rankings improve as well as an increase in the number of user logins by 8.5 per cent.
Ian Passmore, managing director of Endsleigh, said: "The whole industry is aware of the dominant role the internet now plays and Endsleigh has very successfully capitalised on this growth area.
"We believe that our new website will lead to even bigger growth in business."
Ron Swift, a vice president of software developer Teradata, recently suggested that understanding analytics was important to improving websites as it allows businesses to target customers in a more efficient way.
