A writer has penned a letter to Bill Gates to advise him on search engine optimisation (SEO).
Danny Sullivan published the article on Search Engine Land, however, so creators of bespoke websites all over the world can benefit from the tips as well.
Mr Sullivan demonstrated how a standard Google search for "bill gates blog" turned up a number of fakes, one of which ranked higher than the real thing.
The entrepreneur's real blog was only the fourth highest hit, though the official Microsoft page came first.
Mr Sullivan highlighted a number of ways Mr Gates could fix flaws in his SEO, such as more optimised use of keywords in the title and meta description tags, as well as titling all pages individually.
Giving unique and optimised titles to each blog post could also help to cut down on duplication, the expert said.
Bill Gates is famous for being the co-founder of Microsoft, where he is now chairman.
He is married to Melinda French Gates and the couple has three children.
