A marketing professional has warned firms to ensure their web development stays abreast of change within search marketing.
Kevin Gibbons used an SEOptimise article to highlight the need to adapt to the field and ways of doing this.
He warned companies to be aware that competition can appear very quickly and to stay working on their search engine optimisation (SEO) strategies even while they are highly ranking.
In addition, ecommerces were advised to take time to review their performance, as short-term or immediate failures or successes may not be indicative of how the website is performing overall.
Another tip was to integrate various marketing strategies, such as paid search along with keyword use, into one SEO campaign.
Patricio Robles recently used an Econsultancy blog post to urge companies using social media marketing tactics to keep their goals specific and clear.
He stressed the need for "tangibles and deliverables" to be outlined before embarking on such a project.
