Smartphone users can help keep track of their finances with certain mobile applications.
Chiara Cavaglieri used an Independent article to outline a number of mobile applications which are intended to assist with money management.
The free app 0870 helps users to find alternatives to costly 0870 phone numbers, while those dealing in stocks and shares can make use of Bloomberg, which is also free.
Chris Rowe of Worldwide Financial Planning revealed that he is a user of the app, which provides updates and graphs and gives more detail than the similar app which is pre-installed on the iPhone.
Banking and transactions can be carried out on the MoBank application, which is free of charge but carries costs for certain activities.
Of the paid-for mobile applications, Meter Reading is the most popular.
It shows energy consumption and costs.
Last week, FFP Global released a report in which it predicted that mobile applications would see growth within the ecommerce industry.
