Web development professionals can now make use of a number of new functions within the final release of Opera 10.
The browser comes with Opera Turbo, a new technology that compresses web content to allow it to be delivered at broadband-like speeds even when the user's actual web connection is slow.
It also includes an update to Opera Dragonfly, the company's suite of onboard web development tools.
Dragonfly lets web developers edit the document object model and inspect HTTP headers within their web pages.
Other new features include a redesigned interface, enhanced email integration, a 40 per cent improvement in speed compared with Opera 9.6 and better tab handling.
Jon von Tetzchner, chief executive of Opera, said: "Opera Turbo is our newest innovation - and one we think everyone should try, because we all will face a slow connection at some point."
Opera launched the release candidate for Opera 10 on August 25th.
