Google has pointed out some of the mobile apps available for those who want to view their Google Analytics data on the go.
The search engine launched its Analytics Data Export application programming interface (API) in April this year with the aim of allowing website owners to have read-only access to their performance statistics.
A number of apps have been developed by third parties using this API as a result, with Google highlighting Actual Metrics's Mobile GA app for Android and the Analytics App, Google Analytics for iPhone and Ego App offerings for the iPhone.
"With [the] recent launch of the Google Analytics Data Export API, Google Analytics data is starting to show up in some new places," Nick Mihailovski of the Google Analytics API team commented in a blog post.
Another potential use of the API is building apps that make Analytics data available to other people, according to Google.
