DFS has been ranked as having the best e-commerce website out of the top 50 UK retail sites.
The June edition of the monthly study, which was conducted by Sitemorse for Retail Bulletin, saw DFS receive a score of 9.54 out of 10, nearly two points ahead of Net-a-Porter, which came second with 6.74.
DFS received high ratings across all of the web design categories it was examined in, including function, accessibility, code quality, performance and metadata.
Other high-ranking e-commerce sites included John Lewis, N Brown Group and Hamleys in third, fourth and fifth place respectively.
"DFS is known for good advertising and marketing and they clearly regard their online presence in just the same light," commented Lawrence Shaw, founder of Sitemorse.
"They achieve good scores across the board."
Amazon UK, Argos and Play.com were the three most visited e-commerce sites in the UK last month, according to the IMRG-Hitwise Hot Shops List.
