A new website has been launched to help users consult the knowledge of other members of the online community when making a decision.
Created by Flickr co-founder Caterina Fake, Hunch allows users to input a question into its search engine before being asked several further questions by the website.
Hunch then returns possible answers or solutions based on community feedback and on previous answers given by the user if they have created an account on the website.
Users can submit possible topics for inclusion on the site while widgets are available to post results on blogs.
"Hunch helps you make decisions and gives you results it wouldn't give other people, getting smarter over time as more people use it," Ms Fake said in a blog post.
Ms Fake previously played a part in the development of Yahoo! Answers, another community based question-and-answer site, before leaving the company in 2008, according to BusinessWeek.
