MySpace has signed up to begin developing apps for the Windows Mobile platform, it has been announced.
The social network, along with EA Mobile, are among the newest partners for Microsoft's Windows Marketplace for Mobile store, which is set to launch later this year.
Other developers for the scheme include Zagat Survey, CNBC, the Associated Press and Netflix.
Microsoft also revealed that users who buy apps from its mobile store will be able to obtain a refund after 24 hours if they are not satisfied with the app in question.
It first announced the store and the newest release of Windows Mobile - version 6.5 - at last month's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
"The continued support from the world's top mobile operators, manufacturers and developers means you can choose the Windows phone, applications and experiences that are right for you," remarked Robbie Bach, president of the entertainment and devices division at Microsoft.
