Social music website imeem has launched a new version of its app for Android mobile phones.
The free imeem Mobile app comes with a new feature, MyMusic, that lets users stream their personal imeem music library through their handsets.
Its other offerings include the ability to create custom web radio stations, as well as access to personalised recommendations and links to DRM-free mp3s from Amazon.
Users can also share their favourite tracks with their friends and make use of two new personalised Favourite Stations, which consist of artists and songs marked as a 'favourite' by the user.
"Our community has been asking for [MyMusic] since we launched imeem Mobile last fall," remarked Dalton Caldwell, founder and chief executive of imeem.
"We're happy to give them what they want - access to their music from the cloud - and to help drive download sales by adding more value to the music people buy online."
A mobile advertising platform was launched by imeem in November last year, enabling brands to place display ads within the imeem Mobile app.
