A new website has been launched by the London-based War on Want charity.
Unveiled ahead of a large-scale demonstration in London, the new site features a breaking news feed, an image-heavy homepage and integrated video and picture galleries.
The site search function has also been improved, while a new interactive map displays where and how the charity carries out its work in the battle against poverty.
Corin Pearce of War on Want said: "With a rising profile as the UK's foremost charity tackling the causes of world poverty, the new website can win even more public backing for our work."
The charity currently attracts thousands of visitors to its site, which is accessed by users in more than 140 countries worldwide.
A report released by nfpSynergy last year suggested that charities should do more online than use passive forms of fundraising such as 'donate now' buttons on their websites.
The research company called on charities to provide more interactive experiences to drive interest and potential help raise more funds.
