Overview
PureRSS is our first foray into mobile phone development, specifically taking advantage of the Android platform created by Google. Written in Java and taking full advantage of some of the unique features available in Android, such as background tasks and integrated user notifications, PureRSS has already become a popular application.
With approximately 10,000 user downloads within the first 8 weeks of public availability, PureRSS is in heavy use around the world.
Yet success hasn't stopped us developing - new versions are being released every couple of weeks containing both new features, enhancements and stability updates and user feedback and suggestions are always welcome.
Overall PureRSS has given us a fantastic insight into the Android mobile phone platform and we look forward to being able to open source the project at a later date as well as begin work on many other Android applications.
