Overview

Newlyns Farm Shop and Cookery School website combines a beautiful website design with a content managed website and cookery course booking system.

With Newlyns representing such a strong local brand with clear values (providing high quality and ethically produced fresh food) it was important that the website be designed to reflect their identity and communicate their brand image.  A bespoke website design was produced and tied with a content management system allowing Newlyns to keep their own website up to date whilst maintaining the integrity of the design.  As such the CMS is also responsible for correctly resizing and cropping uploaded imagery and applying the correct styles to text throughout the site.

The other challenge presented by the website was the online booking of courses and purchase of gift vouchers for use both at the cookery school and in the farm shop itself.  A bespoke booking system and ecommerce solution was developed precisely matching Newlyns' needs and requirements.

An email template was created reflecting the new website's design and set up within Mail Chimp allowing Newlyns to manage their own mailing list and send mail shots as frequently as they need.  The website was also integrated into this mailing list so that subscribers are automatically added into Mail Chimp's database.
